America asks our young men and women to enlist and train to fight for democracy and for our country. The implicit contract is that the consequences they suffer, both physical and mental, will be addressed upon their return. What we are observing is that more needs to be done to follow through on this promise. It becomes a breach of social contract, not just for Veterans but for all Americans, when the needs of those who serve go unattended. Toward this end, Veterans' Resource has a contribution to make.
